This island is the ultimate outdoors adventure. I’ve been to Frazer Island many times as a kid – long before Kingfisher Bay Resort, roads and when dingos, brumbies and campers all got along (I’m really showing my age). Some people will argue that that Frazer Island is long gone.

Whatever your thoughts there is no denying Frazer Island is stunning. This long beach on Queensland's Fraser Island boasts ancient coloured dunes, bubbling freshwater springs, pristine lakes, and rainforest filled with amazing wildlife.

An astonishing 354 species of birds have been seen on the island, while the surrounding waters are home to dolphins, whales, dugongs, turtles and huge rays.  It’s no wonder it has become one of the world’s most popular Island travel destinations.

Stretching over 123 kilometres along, Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. It was added to the world heritage list in recognition of its natural values and representing ongoing ecological and biological processes and as an example of superlative natural phenomena.

It has ever changing sandscape that offers holiday makers a variety of experiences in the great outdoors; romantic beachside escapes for honeymooners; fun family fishing holidays; couples retreats; hiking holidays; four-wheel-drive adventure holidays; time out lazing poolside sipping cocktails; bird watching... you name it... and best of all its only 45 minutes from the  mainland.
