Gaia Retreat & Spa. Location? Byron Bay of course and home to those three magic words…rest…relax…recharge. In short it’s a wonderful hippy hangout for those wanting a lifestyle rethink. And let’s be honest, we’ve all had one of those days even weeks.

Generally those flocking to Byron Bay come for a good time and then there’s those who are soul searching and in need of some healing. Gaia, meaning ‘Spirit of Mother Earth’ came to life by our very own Oliver Newton-John and its perched high on the hills on the Northern NSW Coast.

The Gaia experience is all about contemporary elegance and gorgeous rooms that inspire a feeling of beauty, calmness and balance. Creating a sense of nurturing, peace and serenity working side by side with the surrounding flora and fauna.

If you’re planning on holding an event the facilities are amongst the rolling hinterland hills and the back drop is where people and ‘heart’ come together as one.

Gaia accommodates up to 38 guests and can hold a function for 100 guests in Kukura House, the elegant dining room at Gaia.

Obviously weddings are a dime a dozen with everyone saying there I dos’ here.

Good food, good treatments and yoga everyday – yes to that!
