Welcome to our first issue! I am very excited to launch this newsletter which will inform and inspire you on a monthly basis with all things Events Gold Coast…useful information, helpful hints and tips, news and past and upcoming events. It’s like stocking filler – full of the things you love.

Following on from delegate conference packages, this blog is about keeping your delegates awake and interested at your conference.

The word “conference” brings to mind a group of business people creating market strategies in hotels with white boards, flip charts and lots of little bowls of mints. This is true.

If you’re an Event Manager you know there are a lot of things that can go wrong at an event, even the best laid plans often go askew. The whole reason we have a plan is so we know what we’re doing.  So what happens when things don't go according to plan? It can be frustrating, confusing, funny and sometimes dangerous, but there are always ways to recover and get back on track no matter how big or small the event is. 

This is a tricky one. Ultimately everyone wants to see the world and experience new and exotic locations. If asked where would you rather go, San Carbo (Mexico) for a conference or Bondi Beach, Australia. Everyone one in the room will say Mexico, however we would argue to anyone who wants to listen, Australia is the best place on earth and why would you go anywhere else – we have it all.
